There are those who say that rosy cheeks are a sign of rude health, but a good thing can go too far…

The symptoms of Rosacea can be so much more than just having red cheeks, becoming quite unpleasant, and made worse by pronounced blood vessels, swelling and skin eruptions. The redness can become permanent and spread to the ears, chest and neck.

How does it work?
The veins responsible for causing Rosacea respond to the heat emitted by the needle. This heat travels through the skin and is absorbed by the blood within these veins. The resulting heat coagulates or clots the blood and destroys the function or the vessel. Over time, the vessel is absorbed by the body and disappears from sight, leading to a reduction in the redness and flushing appearance of the skin.

Will it hurt?
There may be slight discomfort during the treatment.

How effective is it?
There are two results: we help to calm the reddened appearance of the skin whilst also calming the uncomfortable feelings associated with the condition. The treatment also helps to calm the spots and eruptions and reduce the chance of the condition recurring. Overall, your face feels more comfortable and your skin tone is more even. How long do treatments take?
Treatments take approximately15 to 45 minutes and are typically performed at four weekly intervals. Clients may require several initial treatments and then return annually for treatment of new blood vessels. Our skin expert will create a bespoke skin rejuvenation programme for you.
